Dining Room - Before and After

Before

Sometimes our clients are fortunate enough to have very special heirlooms passed onto them. In this home, this was definitely the case. We started with their great dining room set and added this striking chandelier.

After

As you can see making magic doesn't have to cost millions. Faux painting the columns helped connect these pieces of an older time with the detailed structure of this new home. We then purchased a needlepoint rug and selected a fabric that worked with it to re-upholster the seats of the chairs. We finished off this room with ivory carved Asian artwork ginger jars accented with tassels and a hand painted canvas mounted on the ceiling.

Before

This client fell in love with her Dining Room set, in the showroom it was irresistible. At home however it lacked the exciting surroundings that gave it that "had to have feel".

After

Enter The Art of Placement. We were able to emphasize the real beauty of these pieces and fill up the empty space by adding only a few key elements. The right color, strength and weight of our selections for window treatments, carpet, art and lighting went a long way in creating this stunning room.
