| Hope for 2009 |
Hello Everyone! On behalf of everyone at the Art of Placement, we would like to welcome you all to 2009! Each New Year represents a time where we can throw off all that entraps, leaving behind the things in our lives which have weighed us down, so that we can run the race of life with anticipation, with joy, with purpose and with hope. We all know of the economic uncertainties that have plagued us in the previous year, however, I am pleased to announce that there is a light at the end of this tunnel. There has been considerable evidence that 2009 will bring about many new opportunities to celebrate and restore your faith in a lavish lifestyle. more |

| Investing In Your Future |
For one, changing or updating your furniture in your home and dressing up the walls with a fresh coat of paint or a fabulous wall covering can make a world of difference in the presentation of your home and also, your self-esteem. After all, they say clothes make the man, but believe me, so does his home. Of course, larger improvements can bring about more money in the future. more |

| Tips and Tricks of the Trade |
To share a few of my secrets with you, I'd like to start off by saying that the most essential thing about your home is really loving the things you live with. Keep in mind also, that a 'perfect' interior oppresses creativity and so personally, I prefer spontaneity and innovative interiors that keep your homes alive. I also believe a home featuring surprises is impressively enticing. Things like a custom built dresser with a virtually undetectable portion that disguises a pop-up flat screen TV. Or, the console table we had custom built to match our client's dining room table that was used to pull up next to the table for extra seating during large dinner parties! Another client needed extra sleeping for out of town guests but hated the look of daybeds or sofa beds; so instead, we created a few grandly comfortable, overstuffed chairs that turned into single beds. And the best one... well, I suppose I should refrain from that since I know our firm could easily place your next home in this sentence instead. more |

| Special Times |
In the Beginning it was all about making peoples' homes beautiful, creating an environment that you just wouldn't want to leave. Elegance, Comfort and Luxury were the words springing from my lips and the world was a happy place to work and play.
For me, one of my greatest passions was and still is getting to know unique individuals with various talents that I can add to my "team of experts". Together we create masterpieces that highlight their many splendid skills and enrich each project we work on. more |

| Reflection on 2007 |
I've been reflecting on 2007 client projects. Their diversity just proves how important our Design Solution packages have turned out to be. Today I'm at one of my out of state clients' homes in The Excelsior in Boca Raton. We're accepting deliveries and managing our workmen who are installing built ins...our client is expecting all to be done before her 2:00 p.m. arrival today! Welcome to the Holidays! more |

| The Holistic Home |
I’ve decided this month that we’ll take a break from the Client Q. & A. because it’s time for something else to take precedent! As anyone who’s turned on the t.v. lately or read about the tragedy in the news knows…it’s time to try to turn our homes into the nurturing environments we look forward to returning to at the end of every day.
It’s time for us to focus on creating environments for our physical and spiritual well being. more |

| Artful Interiors by Design |
By Monique Stringfellow
Haute Living Magazine
By offering the ultimate in home interiors, The Art of Placement makes interior design, well, art.
The Art of Placement is changing the face of Florida’s interior decorating scene. Founder and owner Nancy Feldman, who established the firm in 1997, designed and converted hundreds of apartments and condominiums for re-sale before moving to Florida 20 years ago. Hailing from Boston, she brought to the table a background rich in decorating and interior arrangement. Her philosophy is that proper placement and attention to architectural detail are the keys to creating beautiful living environments, which certainly shows through in the unique spaces they create.
