I've been reflecting on 2007 client projects. Their diversity just proves how important our Design Solution packages have turned out to be. Today I'm at one of my out of state clients' homes in The Excelsior in Boca Raton. We're accepting deliveries and managing our workmen who are installing built ins...our client is expecting all to be done before her 2:00 p.m. arrival today! Welcome to the Holidays!
Installs are when you find out exactly how off your walls are, how uneven your floors and ceiling turn out to be and why the draperies may not go in exactly the way you planned. While we're pulling together this spectacular ocean front pied-a-terre, we have three other projects rushing towards completion again, prior to the holiday!
What every one of these clients have in common is that they've all decided that come hell or high water, their home is going to make them feel great when they walk in the door and they all want to enjoy it for the season this year! Regardless of whether some purchased new, upgraded, downsized or couldn't sell and decided to stay put; no one wanted to feel like they were surrounded by the turmoil or unfinished karma that the world is facing right now.
This year we've been busier than ever trying to fulfill everyone's dreams and maybe because of our enthusiasm and the fact that we are well equipped to handle a diverse clientele we've been lucky enough to weather the storm of this downward market.
Our clients homes are always warm and inviting, always individual and unique. No two projects ever look the same and each of the clients I mention today are perfect examples of what we in the Interior Decorating field are now experiencing! Our client in Addision Reserve came to us because we do decorate partial homes. While many of our projects are full scale we feel that if for example, you have a realistic budget to do over your master bedroom suite or your main living area we can work with you. Some companies will only want to do an entire home while we'll help you to update or re- design and give you a whole new look!
Our Stonebridge client decided that she was staying put but wanted an entire facelift for her home. We transformed it from it's 70's look to a sleek and modern contemporary. They love it. They'll be there forever, no senior living for them! Clients who aren't moving now want a new look. They want to breathe new life into their environment and enjoy it before they do someday decide to sell. We all agree; why have the next person enjoy your home more than you. Renovating may become a huge part of accomplishing your goals, while no small undertaking it allows you to enjoy the fruits of your labor while you live in this space. Sometimes a Renovation project turns into an entire make-over.
